Liverpool Advice Alliance is a one point telephone advice number set up between 16 partners across Liverpool city, providing a resource for information and advice in Debt, Employment Law, Housing, Welfare Benefits and more.

The project is funded through the Big Lottery Fund and aims to create a more coordinated and uniformed advice system across Liverpool. The service will be open between 10am- 2pm Monday - Thursday.

There has been a particular sharp rise in the number of people accessing information and advice in Debt, Employment Law, Housing and Welfare Benefits according to advice agencies across the city. Advisers are reporting that individuals increasingly have more complex issues that require a more holistic approach to advice.

Liverpool Advice Alliance will therefore improve access to information and advice for the people of Liverpool by coordinating for the first time the services of all the main voluntary sector advice providers in the city.

The Liverpool Advice Alliance project will be staffed by dedicated, experienced, professional staff and volunteers who all bring their knowledge, skills and understanding to the front line of this service.

In the current economic climate the Liverpool Advice Alliance will offer the people of Liverpool a more efficient and accessible route to find help with their problems.
